Bernadine Gunderson is a freelance director, creative director, and model based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up Bernadine was homeschooled and the youngest of six kids. In her free time, she would sew outfits, do makeup, make short films, and curate photoshoots with her sisters. At fourteen, Bernadine started modeling professionally and has worked with Spalding, Binks Outfitters, Any Old Iron, and Jeffrey Campbell. She has also appeared in music videos for Troy Cartwright, Bailey Bryan, and One the Duo. In her late teens and early twenties, she shifted her focus behind the camera working as a makeup artist, hairstylist, stylist, director, and creative director for photographers, brands, and artists. She has directed and creative directed music videos for Daisha Mcbride, Hollie Hammel and a short film for Houston Kendrick, among others. Her work with Daisha Mcbride for “Black Queen” was nominated for BET Music Amplifind. She has assisted on sets for New Found Glory, The Band Camino, Cover Girl, and Trixie Mattel Cosmetics. With her knowledge in front of and behind the camera, Bernadine’s strongest skills incorporate curating teams and creative concepts to bring her client’s visions to life.
